Coronavirus update – delivering for the country

Share

We wanted to let you know what we’re doing in response to the Coronavirus outbreak to protect our staff.

We’re following the government health advice to make sure our colleagues stay safe and we are putting all the necessary measures in place to ensure this advice is followed by everyone.

During these uncertain times, we are doing all we can to maintain our usual standards. We are listening to information as it is released and making decisions quickly. To make sure we can always deliver, we have made changes to the way we work, in line with the rest of the supply chain, and indeed the rest of the country.

We understand this is a challenging time and we’ve put our robust business continuity plans into action so we can make sure we can still supply first-class services to all our customers across the end-to-end supply chain.

We continue to have a team of drivers ready to collect, with additional cleaning requirements in place. We never co-load and we deliver straight to the end destination, your goods will arrive safe, secure and on time.

Prevention precautions

We are regularly communicating with all colleagues and drivers to offer information and advice on the Coronavirus. We have issued guidance on the universal precautions they should practice to prevent against illness. A full comprehensive reporting process has been communicated should any driver become ill, this will enable us to notify sites they have visited, as part of the containment process.

Supporting deliveries to those who have self isolated

We understand that there are people and business’ requiring supplies, who may be self isolating. We can make arrangements to leave goods outside locations specified to avoid human contact.

Keeping in touch with us

We continue to have various ways you can contact us online through our branch online enquiry forms or general enquiries.
